We are delighted and honoured that the Cobden Centre has received funding from the Artificial Intelligence Journal (JAI). JAI is one of the oldest and most prestigious journals in the field of artificial intelligence and they offer funding to a select group each year.
The Cobden Centre, as well as being a leading think tank in monetary reform and free trade, is establishing itself as one of the leading think tanks in the world for policy in emerging technologies – including AI, which is the most profound of them all.
Last year we organised the Future of Artificial Intelligence roundtable discussions in the European Parliament. Speakers included delegates from the IMF, United Nations, OECD and companies including Intel.
Earlier this year I worked with the Ludwig von Mises Institute (Europe) to put together another event on AI in the European Parliament and discussed the economics of AI and the AI arms race of the 21st Century.
